«Wasting Away» is Matthew Kohnen's horror comedy (2007), starring Michael Terry, Betsy Beutler and Matthew Davis, on DVD.
A group of friends drinks an experimental formula at a fast-food restaurant and, unknowingly, turns into zombies. Far from the usual apocalyptic tone, the film shows them trying to adapt to their new condition and keep their social life, with absurd humor that turns the zombie threat into a sitcom.
Region 2 DVD edition with 96 minutes of footage. English audio in Dolby Digital 2.0 and English subtitles.
A proposal for fans of horror comedy and zombie genre satires, with a light and irreverent tone.
