«Weeds: tercera temporada» is the comedy-drama series created by Jenji Kohan, starring Mary-Louise Parker, Romany Malco and Elizabeth Perkins, released by Sony Pictures Home Entertaiment on DVD.
The series follows Nancy Botwin, a widow who starts selling marijuana to support her family after her husband's death. In this third season, her illegal business has grown into a small empire, and Nancy faces the consequences of her double life in a residential neighborhood: financial problems, complicated family relationships and conflicts with those around her. With a tone of black humor and social critique, the plot combines everyday situations with the constant risk of drug trafficking. Episodes include «Nadar de espaldas», «El baile del ladrillo» and «Riesgo».
The third season of «Weeds» also stars Kevin Nealon and Justin Kirk. The DVD includes 15 episodes with a total running time of 376 minutes. Not recommended for under-16s according to the ICAA classification.
Suitable for those seeking a series with black humor and drama. Although originally broadcast in English, this DVD edition offers options in Spanish and English.
