«0898» is the album by Beautiful South, released in 1992 on Elektra / Wea, on cassette.
Third work by Beautiful South, the band formed by Paul Heaton and Dave Hemingway, both former members of The Housemartins. On this album, Beautiful South's pop becomes more intimate and melodic, with light arrangements and a more mature sound, moving away from the amiable approach of their early albums.
Release date: April 14, 1992.
For fans of Beautiful South and melodic pop of the 90s.
