«A' Sireadh Spòrs» is the album by Dr. Angus MacDonald, released in 1990 on Temple Records, on CD.
A' Sireadh Spòrs is recorded entirely with the Highland bagpipe and brings together 70 melodies: traditional pieces, original compositions by Dr. Angus MacDonald, and pieces adapted for the bagpipe for the first time. The repertoire combines tradition and innovation and shows an individual style that distinguishes this recording.
A native of Glenuig in the Scottish Highlands, Dr. Angus MacDonald has won gold medals at Oban and Inverness and the Clasp of Inverness.
This recording is a reference work for fans of Scottish bagpipes and collectors of Celtic music.
