«A World Lit Only by Fire» is the seventh studio album by the British industrial metal band Godflesh, released in 2014 by Shellshock, on CD.
The album recovers Godflesh's characteristic sound: mechanical rhythms, heavy guitars and a dark, oppressive atmosphere. Its raw production maintains the group's intensity on tracks like «New Dark Ages» and «Deadend».
The record was released on October 6, 2014 and marked Godflesh's return after a long period of inactivity.
For fans of industrial metal and Godflesh's heavy, oppressive sound.
