«Acidule/Cinema Enchante» is the double album by Marina Celeste, released in 2007 by Pias (rough trade) on CD (limited digipak edition).
Marina Celeste, known as the vocalist of Nouvelle Vague, writes her own songs blending French chanson, acoustic arrangements, electronics and a retro-futurist air. Across the two discs it sounds with melancholic elegance; highlights include «Le temps élastique», «Les fleurs» and «C'est moi qui t'aime».
French limited digipak edition with two CDs; the second CD is «Cinema Enchante».
For those who appreciate French chanson and subtle electronics, and for followers of Marina Celeste's time in Nouvelle Vague.
