Amaluna

Synopsis of Amaluna

Amaluna is the original soundtrack for the Cirque du Soleil show of the same name, composed by the duo Bob & Bill (Guy Dubuc and Marc Lessard). This album is noted for its raw and contemporary sound, breaking away from the company's usual conventions by incorporating heavy rock influences and an all-female band. With instrumentation centered on guitars, bass, drums, and cello, the work offers an intense and direct musical experience that captures the narrative and visual essence of the show.

This production marks a milestone in Cirque du Soleil's musical history, presenting a guitar-oriented electronic style that blurs the lines between genres. It is an essential piece for fans of the company and lovers of experimental soundtracks, offering a bold, unembellished musical proposal that reflects the raw power that the musicians bring to the stage.
