«Ambient Heaven: Fields of Gold» is the Various Artists compilation, released in 2009 on CD.
It recreates the feeling of a golden wheat field under the sun, with layers of soft ambient and serene instrumental melodies. Highlights include the instrumental version of 'Fields of Gold' by Sting, performed by Inishkea, and 'The Approach of Summer' by Kevin Kendle, where harp, flute and violin paint a luminous rural landscape.
It is part of the Ambient Heaven series and contains a single disc; the country of origin indicated on the edition is Spain.
A disc suitable as relaxing background music for fans of new age and pastoral soundscapes.
