«Angkor» is the ambient electronic album by Kelly David, released in 2006 by CD Baby on CD.
Ambient electronic album inspired by the temples of Angkor, in Cambodia. Kelly David turns the atmosphere of the ancient Khmer civilization into music: rich textures, surreal sounds and rhythmic passages of ethnic inspiration draw a serene and contemplative sonic journey through a mysterious and distant place.
This is a single-disc CD-R edition, with reference RMR 0002. The recording was made mainly with analog modular synthesizers and the mastering was by Steve Roach.
For listeners of ambient electronic, deep ambient and drone who appreciate evocative atmospheres and seek relaxing listening for meditation or disconnecting.
