«Arías Impuras» is the album by Juan Carlos Romero featuring the voices of Pasión Vega and Rocío Márquez, released in 2022 by Karonte on CD.
Juan Carlos Romero approaches in this album a selection of opera arias through the prism of flamenco, without resorting to the most obvious flamenco rhythms and with a respectful treatment of the original material. The voices of Pasión Vega and Rocío Márquez join this repertoire, which sounds renewed but retains the operatic essence.
The album was released on April 22, 2022, consists of a single CD and falls within traditional folk.
For listeners interested in the fusion of flamenco with the operatic repertoire.
