«Asylum» is the single by Bedlam Ago Go, released in 1998 on Sony Soho2, on 12-inch vinyl.
The single presents two versions of the track «Asylum»: on the A-side, the «Deejay Punk-Roc Remix», and on the B-side, the «Extended Version». Its electronic sound combines house, breakbeat and trip hop with vocals, in line with British production of the nineties.
Both versions were recorded at On U Sound Studio, London, with production by Adrian Sherwood and Alan Branch; the remix also features production by Deejay Punk-Roc and JP Davies. The songs are written by Kenny and Dawkins and the record spins at 45 RPM.
Aimed at listeners of nineties electronic music, particularly British trip hop, breakbeat and house.
