«Baja Sessions» is the album by Chris Isaak, released in 1996 on Reprise Records, on CD.
A relaxed album that evokes a journey along the California coast down to Baja, a place of cacti, sea and slow time, ideal for playing guitar and for romance. It blends rock, rockabilly and rock & roll with acoustic arrangements, and includes «Pretty Girls Don't Cry», «Only the Lonely» and «South of the Border (Down Mexico Way)».
Produced by Erik Jacobsen and with Mark Needham as engineer, the record includes 13 tracks.
For those seeking a relaxed listen of rock with a coastal atmosphere, of unhurried rhythm and acoustic texture.
