«Beethoven: Piano Concerto No. 5» is the album by Beethoven with Kempff, the Berlin Philharmonic and Leitner, released in 1987 by Deutsche Grammophon on CD.
The CD brings together Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5 and the Piano Sonata Op. 111. In the concerto, Wilhelm Kempff plays with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Ferdinand Leitner. The program thus combines a concertante work with a solo piano sonata.
