«Beyond Planet Earth» is the album by Shelter, released in 1997 on Roadrunner Records, on CD.
The album shows Shelter in their most melodic vein: hardcore and punk open up to pop punk and even ska. «Whole Wide World» and «I Know So Little (So Well)» exemplify that shift, and the single «Alone On My Birthday» goes for ska. The lyrics maintain the critique of materialism, animal advocacy and Krishna spirituality.
Released in 1997 by Roadrunner Records, it is a single-disc CD with catalogue number RR 8828-2. The album was issued in several countries, including Europe, the United States and Brazil.
For those who follow Shelter's career or melodic hardcore of the nineties, with an interest in the period when Shelter incorporated pop elements.
