«Black Celebration» is the fifth studio album by Depeche Mode, released in 1986 by Mute Records, on CD.
The album «Black Celebration» delves into synth-pop and industrial electronics with a dark, nocturnal, dystopian-future atmosphere. The production presents a unified sonic environment, rather than a simple collection of songs. Among the tracks, the singles «Stripped», «A Question of Lust» and «A Question of Time» stand out.
The album was released on March 17, 1986 and reached number four on the UK albums chart. The promotional tour was called the Black Celebration Tour.
A record for fans of synth-pop and dark eighties electronics, as well as for followers of Depeche Mode.
