«Blunted on Reality» is the debut hip hop album by the group Fugees, released in 1994 by Ruffhouse Records and Columbia, on CD.
The record blends rap, reggae and soul with socially conscious lyrics that portray urban life, poverty and injustice. Tracks such as «Nappy Heads», «Vocab» and «Boof Baf» show the raw sound of the trio before the success of The Score.
Originally released in 1994, the album is credited to Fugees (Tranzlator Crew) and carries the Parental Advisory label for its explicit lyrics.
For fans of classic 90s hip hop who want to discover the beginnings of Fugees and the sound that preceded their major success.
