«Body Talk» is the jazz-funk album by George Benson, originally released in 1973 and reissued on CD by Epic Europe.
In his CTI period, Benson blends funk groove and jazz refinement: Earl Klugh adds acoustic guitar as a counterpoint to the electric, and the rhythm section includes Ron Carter, Jack DeJohnette and Harold Mabern. It includes «Dance», «When Love Has Grown» and the extended «Body Talk».
Recorded at Van Gelder Studio (Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey), produced by Creed Taylor and arranged by Pee Wee Ellis. This reissue belongs to the CTI Master Series and includes a new mix of «Body Talk» as a bonus track.
For fans of seventies jazz-funk and soul-jazz, as well as followers of the CTI series.
