«Booth and the Bad Angel» is the collaboration album by Tim Booth and Angelo Badalamenti, released in 1996 by Mercury on CD.
Collaboration between Tim Booth, vocalist of the band James, and composer Angelo Badalamenti: alternative rock with orchestral compositions, a melancholic tone and elements of soft rock and synth-pop. Brian Eno and Bernard Butler appear as guests; the cover, in reddish tones with winged figures, extends that atmosphere.
11-track CD released on August 6, 1996; the edition includes a fold-out booklet with the song lyrics.
For fans of James and of nineties alternative rock, and for those who know Angelo Badalamenti from his work with David Lynch.
