«Brazilectro: Latin Flavoured Club Tunes» (Brazilectro Vol. 1) is a various-artists compilation released in 2000 by SPV Recordings as a double CD.
A double compilation bringing together electronics with a Latin and Brazilian accent: house, downtempo and acid jazz with danceable tracks and relaxed atmospheres. Includes contributions from De-Phazz and S-Tone Inc. The cover, an aerial view of Rio de Janeiro, anticipates the fusion of rhythms and textures that defines this collection.
It is volume 1 of the Brazilectro compilation series, originally released in Germany.
Aimed at fans of electronics with Latin roots, house and acid jazz.
