«Breakout» is the jazz fusion album by Spyro Gyra, released on CD in 1994 by RCA, BMG and Amherst Records.
The album develops Spyro Gyra's own jazz fusion, with a funky rhythmic base, melodic hooks close to pop and virtuosic instrumental arrangements. The repertoire alternates passages of certain rhythmic complexity with more accessible moments, and shows the band's characteristic pulse in the nineties.
