«Brother» is the third album by Barcelona trio Aliment, released in 2018 by La Castanya, on CD.
The record moves between post-punk and post-hardcore with ten songs of dark, intense texture, driven by rhythm and with a strong melodic component. Its tracks include «Snake Bite», «Flesh and Gold» and «Maze», and the sound draws on Fugazi and Protomartyr.
Successor to Holy Slap (2012) and Silverback (2015), both released by La Castanya. Reference LCCD 57.
For fans of post-punk and post-hardcore, with echoes of Fugazi and Protomartyr.
