«Bruc (Original Soundtrack)» is the album with the original soundtrack by Xavier Capellas, released in 2011 by Moviescore on CD.
Xavier Capellas's score for Daniel Benmayor's film combines a large orchestra and choir with ethnic instruments such as the duduk and bouzouki, plus the voice of Beth. It accompanies the pursuit of the hero who single-handedly halted Napoleon's advance through Europe in the early 19th century, with grand, gothic, melodic and aggressive passages.
Imported edition on 1-disc CD, released by Moviescore; release date, February 8, 2011.
Will appeal to fans of Spanish film soundtracks and orchestral music with ethnic instrumentation.
