«Celtic Wedding» is the Celtic music album by The Chieftains, released in 1998 by Sony Music Classical on CD.
The record gathers traditional melodies from Brittany performed by The Chieftains, with Celtic wedding folklore as the guiding thread. It alternates ceremonial and festive airs: pieces for the church entrance, nuptial dances such as «Dans Kost Er C'hoad» or «An Dro», and famous tracks like «Jabadaw» or «Ev Chistr 'Ta, Laou!».
Single-CD album. The cover subtitle is «Music of Brittany».
Recommended for those who enjoy folk music and the traditional Celtic and Irish repertoire performed by one of the genre's reference groups.
