«Celtic Woman» is a compilation by various artists of Celtic music, released in 2001 by Strauch (Edel Musica Austria), on CD.
The compilation brings together Celtic tracks with various voices and arrangements that blend the traditional base with contemporary production. Its repertoire, over sixty minutes long, seeks an evocative tone, in keeping with the cover iconography, where a Celtic knot and a mountainous landscape evoke the Irish imaginary.
The edition is an import, on a single CD, and falls within traditional and world music; in the credits the performer appears as 'Diverse'.
For fans of Celtic music and folk looking for a journey through traditional melodies with a modern finish.
