Clark Terry leads a 1960 jazz session in New York, with seven tracks combining his own compositions and those of Yusef Lateef with pieces by other authors. Notable titles include «Flutin' and Fluglin'», «Brother Terry» and «La Rive Gauche», in a style close to bop.
Recorded on November 19, 1960 at Nola Penthouse Sound Studios (New York), supervised by Nat Hentoff; this CD edition is a remastered reissue (Candid CD 9009).
For jazz and hard bop fans, especially those seeking historic trumpet sessions in remastered editions.
