«Complete Mr. Clarinet Sessions» is the compilation by Buddy DeFranco Quartet, released in 2004 by The Jazz Factory, on CD.
It brings together the sessions that clarinetist Buddy DeFranco recorded in New York in April 1953 with Kenny Drew on piano and Art Blakey on drums. The quartet performs a jazz repertoire in a bebop and hard bop vein, and this edition recovers the material he recorded for Norgran and Verve.
Originally recorded for the Norgran and Verve labels. Spanish edition on CD with ten tracks and catalogue number JFCD22865.
For fans of classic jazz and collectors of bebop and hard bop recordings.
