«Complete Piano Music Vol. 4» is the album by Bohuslav Martinů with piano works performed by Giorgio Koukl, released in 2007 by Naxos on CD.
Final volume of the complete solo piano series that Naxos dedicates to Martinů; it brings together little-known works, including Seven Czech Dances, Les Ritournelles, Quatre Mouvements and Dumkas, along with short pieces such as the Mazurka in homage to Paderewski or the procession of cats on the night of the solstice. Giorgio Koukl performs a repertoire where dance and the intimate writing of the Czech composer take center stage.
The recording was made in Lugano (Switzerland) in June and August 2006, and the CD has a total duration of 68 minutes.
