«Concertos» is the album by Georg Philipp Telemann performed by Concentus Musicus Wien and Nikolaus Harnoncourt, released in 1996 by TELDEC on CD.
It brings together four works by Telemann in very different line-ups: a concerto for recorder and bassoon, another for four violins without continuo, an overture with French-style dances, and a concerto for winds and strings. Harnoncourt and Concentus Musicus Wien highlight the color of this Baroque music.
Edition from the TELDEC label within the Das Alte Werk series. Soloists Frans Brüggen (recorder) and Otto Fleischmann (bassoon).
Recommended for those who enjoy Baroque music and historically informed performances.
