«Concorde» is the jazz album by The Modern Jazz Quartet, released on CD in 2008 by Concord Music Group.
The quartet deploys chamber cool jazz, with precise execution and a serene air; the original session, recorded in 1955 at Van Gelder Studio, includes 'Ralph's New Blues' and the Gershwin medley, pieces that sum up their melodic elegance and their link with post-bop.
Remastered reissue in the RVG Remasters series, with catalogue number PRCD-30653 and a single disc.
For classic jazz listeners and for those who appreciate Rudy Van Gelder's remastered reissues.
