«Cult» is the album by Apocalyptica, released in 2000 on Spinefarm, on CD.
On Cult, the Finnish band Apocalyptica develops their proposal of symphonic metal with cellos as the instrumental base, a sound that crosses classical music with heavy metal. The album brings together original tracks and covers of Metallica, alternating somber atmospheres and melodic passages.
Single-disc CD edition; the cover shows an aged skull on a textured background in ochre tones.
For those interested in symphonic metal and in Metallica covers with cellos.
