«Daiquiri Blues» is the album by Quique González, released in 2009 by Last Tour Records and Sony Music, on CD with DVD.
Recorded in Nashville with production by Brad Jones, its thirteen tracks move through blues, jazz and folk, with a worn texture and nocturnal atmosphere. Cuts like «Daiquiri Blues», «Deslumbrado» and «Un arma precisa» reflect that blend, and the documentary by Fernando Macaya included in this edition shows the recording process.
Special edition released in Spain. Recorded and mixed by Brad Jones at Alex The Great Studios (Nashville) and mastered by Richard Dodd. Photography and design by Fernando Maqueira.
Aimed at fans of Quique González and enthusiasts of Spanish pop-rock with American roots.
