«Day By Day» is the single by Shakatak featuring Al Jarreau, released in 1985 by Polydor on 7-inch vinyl at 45 RPM.
The A-side of this jazz-funk single is «Day By Day», with Al Jarreau on guest vocals and a remix by Wally Brill; the B-side, «Don't Push Me», completes the release. An example of the crossover between funk, soul and pop that marked the 1985 edition.
Produced by Nigel Wright, with Les McCutcheon as executive producer; catalogue number POSP 770.
For collectors of 7-inch vinyl and fans of jazz-funk and 80s pop.
