Desperado is the second studio album by the American band Eagles, released in 1973. Although not as commercially successful as their later albums, it reached #41 on the Billboard charts and has since been certified double platinum by the RIAA. The album is a concept album based on the life of Old West outlaws. The songs tell the story of a band of outlaws, the Eagles, who are being pursued by the law. The album features several Eagles classics, including the title track, "Desperado", as well as "Tequila Sunrise" and "Outlaw Man".
