Di Korpu Ku Alma condenses Lura's Cape Verdean musical heritage into a fusion of morna and neo soul. The singer shows a sweet, expressive voice over guitar, violin and accordion arrangements, with tracks ranging from serene to rhythmic. Highlights include «Na Ri Na», «Vazulina» and «Batuku».
The CD includes 13 songs, five of them composed by Orlando Pantera, and also features tracks written by Lura and Katchas.
For world music and traditional Cape Verdean music listeners interested in morna, neo soul and voices with African roots.
