«Discothèque» is the U2 CD single with four remixes of the song, released in 1997 by Island Records.
The CD single features four versions of «Discothèque»: the DM Deep Club Mix, the Howie B., Hairy B. Mix, the Hexadecimal Mix and the DM Tec Radio Mix. The song combines U2's rock with electronic and house rhythms, in a vein close to the album Pop, of which it was the first single. The mixes, credited to David Morales, Steve Osborne and Howie B., expand the danceable approach of the original track.
1997 CD single edition with catalogue number CIDX 649/854 877-2, released under license from PolyGram International Music B.V. for Island Records. Includes a single disc.
Aimed at those seeking a U2 single in physical format and at collectors interested in the electronic remixes from the band's Pop era.
