«Doing Their Own Thing» is the funk/soul album by Maceo & All the Kings Men, released on CD by Charly UK in 1993.
The album moves between funk and soul with danceable rhythms and a band sound that recalls their time as James Brown's orchestra. Maceo & All the Kings Men, from that lineup, deliver a compact repertoire of groovy tracks without losing the classic funk stamp.
The cover reproduces a black-and-white photograph of the musicians with the caption «Maceo and All The Kings Men. Formerly The James Brown Orch.»
For funk and soul listeners interested in the sound of the musicians from James Brown's former orchestra.
