«Drones» is the seventh studio album by Muse, released in 2015 by Warner Bros UK as a CD+DVD edition.
The album follows an individual who, after losing all hope, is molded by the system until becoming a 'drone': a cog without will that ends up turning against those who control it. Dehumanization and technology form the backdrop of dense, direct rock, with songs like 'Dead Inside' and 'Psycho'.
Two-disc edition: CD with the album and DVD with live performances and behind-the-scenes material. Release: June 9, 2015.
Recommended for Muse fans and for those seeking a conceptual alternative rock album with a message.
