«El mal de amores - La mala sombra - Golondrina de Madrid» is a compilation of music by José Serrano, released in 2008 by Blue Moon on CD.
It compiles three works of Spanish lyric theater: the sainete «El mal de amores» and the lyric sainete «La mala sombra», with texts by Serafín and Joaquín Álvarez Quintero, and the two-act zarzuela «Golondrina de Madrid», with a libretto by Luis Fernández Sevilla. All three, with music by José Serrano, are a sample of the scenic costumbrismo of the early 20th century.
The CD includes performances with historic voices such as Marcos Redondo and Cora Raga.
For collectors and fans of classic zarzuela and Spanish lyric theater.
