«Elizium» is the gothic rock album by Fields of the Nephilim, released in 1990 on Beggars Banquet, on CD.
Elizium offers a gothic rock sonic journey: dense guitars, keyboards and a deep voice create hypnotic, ceremonial atmospheres. The lyrics evoke dreams, memory and inner landscapes. Tracks like «For Her Light» and «Sumerland (What Dreams May Come)» sum up that dark universe.
The album includes eight songs; it was produced by Fields of the Nephilim with Andy Jackson, recorded at Parkgate Studios and mastered by Nimbus. The catalogue reference is BEGA 115 CD.
For fans of gothic rock and the atmospheric UK sound of the early nineties.
