«Emilie Jolie» is the album by Philippe Chatel, released by RCA on CD.
Emilie Jolie tells the story of a girl who enters her storybook and meets its characters: the big bird, the blue rabbits, the witch and the wolf. Each encounter gives rise to a song performed by different voices, such as «Chanson de la Compagnie des Lapins Bleus», «Chanson d'Émilie Jolie et du Grand Oiseau» and «Chanson de la Sorcière».
The CD includes 16 songs in French and brings together performers such as Georges Brassens, Françoise Hardy, Julien Clerc, Alain Souchon, Sylvie Vartan and Robert Charlebois.
It is aimed at those looking for French children's music titles and fans of French chanson.
