«Entre Raices y Antenas» is the album by Macaco, released in 2005 by Mundo Surd (Galileo Music Communication) on CD.
In «Entre Raices y Antenas», Macaco connects roots with antennas: the old and the new merge in a repertoire of reggae, hip hop, funk and Latin rhythms, recorded in multicultural Barcelona. It includes tracks such as «El mundo de los sueños», «Meu Amigo Gandhi» and «Giratutto».
The back cover of «Entre Raices y Antenas» lists the album's 16 tracks, with «Giratutto» in two versions: Urban and Sambita.
For those seeking Latin fusion, reggae and hip hop with a traveler's spirit: Macaco's work looks to roots and the city at the same time.
