«Erroll Garner» is a jazz compilation by pianist Erroll Garner, released in 2003 by Nocturne as a double CD with a comic by Michel Conversin.
Compilation dedicated to Erroll Garner, a self-taught pianist who renewed jazz piano with a personal style: full chords in the left hand and clear melodic phrases with a slight delay. His recordings retain powerful swing, humor and harmonic richness; the comic by Michel Conversin completes the visual portrait of the musician.
Part of the BD Jazz collection, catalogue number JZBD 007, and includes two CDs and a 16-page comic in French.
Suitable for fans of classic jazz who want to learn more about Erroll Garner and for comic readers drawn to biographies of great musicians.
