«Faith» is George Michael's solo debut album, released on CD by Epic (Sony Music) in 1987.
The record launches George Michael's solo career after Wham! and combines pop, rock, funk, soul and synthesizers. Standout tracks include «Faith», «Father Figure», «One More Try», «I Want Your Sex» and «Kissing a Fool». The lyrics alternate introspection with sexual defiance and social critique, in a balance that defines the adult pop sound of the late eighties.
CD edition of an album with eleven tracks, recorded in 1987 at Puk Studios (Denmark) and Sarm West Studios (London). All songs are composed by George Michael, except «Look at Your Hands», written with David Austin.
For fans of classic eighties pop and followers of George Michael looking for his first solo work.
