«Famille Nombreuse» is the studio album by Les Négresses Vertes, released on CD in 1991 by Delabel/Virgin France.
The French group deploys in this work a festive mix of rock, pop, folk and Latin rhythms, with French lyrics full of wit. The theatrical cover scene, with curtains and a starry sky, anticipates a varied repertoire ranging from rumba to singer-songwriter. Highlights include «Famille heureuse», «Face à la mer» and «Sous le soleil de Bodega».
The album is framed in folk rock and pop rock styles, with additional influences of punk and flamenco. CD edition with one disc; the catalog code is CDDLB 2.
Recommended for those seeking French pop rock from the 90s with a festive flavor and close to artists like Manu Chao.
