«Faso Denou» is the album by Farafina, released in 1993 by Real World Records and Virgin Records, on CD.
Farafina, a group from Burkina Faso, presents on this album a repertoire of African percussion with voices and instruments. Percussion is the central axis of pieces that draw on rhythms and traditions of West Africa, with an approach closer to the region's drum school than to the polished production of world music.
The album consists of a single disc and is classified in the folk, world & country genre, within the African style.
Will appeal to fans of African percussion and those seeking world music with roots in West Africa.
