«Filippa Giordano» is the self-titled debut album by Italian soprano Filippa Giordano, released in 1999 on CD.
The album brings together well-known opera arias such as «Casta Diva» and «Habanera» alongside more contemporary tracks like «Lost Boys Calling» and «You Are the One». The selection alternates lyrical passages with pop-leaning arrangements, and also includes «Ave Maria».
The European edition, a project by Caterina Caselli for Sugar, contains 12 tracks and was manufactured by Warner Music Manufacturing Europe.
For those who enjoy opera arias and vocal versions with a pop feel, and seek a varied repertoire combining classical and contemporary.
