«Fío e agulla» is the album by Galician group Pelepau, released in 2015 by Inquedanzas Sonoras on CD.
The album moves between traditional Galician music and a lively stage presence: root instrumentation, with percussion and drumsticks, coexists with dynamic arrangements. The cover, a puppet made of drums, drumsticks and shells against a backdrop of stage lights, reinforces this dialogue between tradition and spectacle.
The CD edition is a digipack with a 12-page booklet; the album is sung in Galician.
For fans of folk and world music seeking a contemporary approach to Galician roots music.
