«Fireworks Music / Water Music» is the baroque music album by George Frideric Handel, with The King's Consort and Robert King, on CD from Hyperion (2009).
The album brings together two orchestral suites by Handel: Music for the Royal Fireworks, evoking an outdoor celebration with fireworks, and Water Music, linked to 18th-century aquatic festivities. The performance by The King's Consort and Robert King has a festive and ceremonial character.
One-disc album with recordings from January 1989 and January 1997, released on the Helios label of Hyperion Records.
For classical music listeners interested in the baroque repertoire and Handel's orchestral suites.
