«Folie à Deux» is Fall Out Boy's fourth studio album, released in 2008 by Island Records, on CD.
The band expands their sound beyond emo with brass and string arrangements, and features collaborations with Elvis Costello, Lil Wayne, and Brendon Urie. The lyrics address broken relationships, moral dilemmas, and social critiques in tracks like «I Don't Care», «What a Catch, Donnie», and «20 Dollar Nose Bleed».
Recorded between July and September 2008 with Neal Avron, it includes 13 songs. It debuted at number eight on the US Billboard 200.
Album recommended for fans of Fall Out Boy and the emo and pop punk scene of the late 2000s.
