«Gate Swings» is the blues and jazz album by Clarence Gatemouth Brown, released on CD in 1997 by Verve Records.
On this album, Clarence Gatemouth Brown presents a repertoire where swing, Texas blues, Louisiana blues and jump blues coexist on one record. His guitar and voice guide lively tracks and more relaxed passages, with arrangements that highlight the danceable character of this Southern blues.
The album was recorded at Dockside Studio and Ultrasonic Studios, with Gitanes Blues Productions involved in production.
Will appeal to blues and jazz fans, especially those who enjoy swing and Texas blues.
